Temple dedicated to the goddess Ganga features original architecture reminiscent of a haveli, with an inner courtyard filled with frescoes
The temple of Ganga Mai, dedicated to the goddess Ganga (the Ganges) and built in the middle of the 19th century, presents an original architecture evoking more a haveli than a sanctuary. Its inner courtyard has kept frescoes and decorations made of small mirrors(sheesh). In the neighboring alleys, the Parsurampura and Dharni Dharka haveli have paintings dating from the 1920s and 1930s, with much more modern motifs and style. Note the original details of Gandhi and Nehru in a car on the latter.
