Located between Jaipur and Alwar, Sariska is home to an 800 km² reserve inhabited by a dozen tigers. After the disappearance of the species in 2005, tigers were transferred from Ranthambore Park. You may not see any felines, but antelopes, deer, wild boar and many birds. Sariska was part of the Alwar kingdom and was the private hunting reserve of the maharajas.Transportation: take a bus to Jaipur from Alwar bus station. Ask the driver to leave you at the entrance to the reserve.
