Imposing palace turned museum housing collections of folk art: clothing, musical instruments, utensils and tools
The construction of this imposing palace was entrusted to the famous English architect Sir Swinton Jacob. The maharaja wanted to enrich his city with a monument capable of rivaling the Victoria and Albert Hall Museum in London. The first floor houses collections of folk art: clothing, musical instruments, utensils and tools. The second floor is occupied by a heterogeneous collection of miniatures, manuscripts, weapons, gifts to the sovereigns. Don't miss the funny collection of figurines representing the different yoga postures.
