Casa, as it's known, caressed by the waves of the Atlantic, is a city of contrasts. Looking to an international future and open to the world, the city aims to position itself as one of the most attractive metropolises in the Mediterranean basin. The country's economic capital, Casablanca is one of Morocco's must-visit cities, with its modern, cosmopolitan feel. In this city of 3.8 million inhabitants, you can move from small craftsmen to a 200-hectare Morocco Mall, from local dairies to Morocco's most exclusive restaurants, from the picturesque arcana of the Habous district to wide shopping avenues. The tramway is helping to relieve traffic congestion in the city center. But traffic remains extremely dense. Casa honks. Casablanca has delusions of grandeur. The large-scale Casablanca Marina project is one of the fundamental elements of this development policy. This magnet would bring together the construction of a marina, a business center, boutiques, an aquarium, a convention center, restaurants... But today, the large-scale project doesn't seem to be progressing at the desired pace. Has Casablanca thought too big? In terms of heritage, Casablanca is a city rich in Art Deco and preserved buildings. Museums abound, and the sublime Hassan II mosque is not to be missed.
