Small village still authentic which can constitute a halt before continuing towards M'Hamid. A few kilometers after Tagounite, the road rises to cross the black stone pass of Tizi Beni Semane, which culminates at 747 m altitude. Stop your vehicle at the pass, turn around and open your eyes wide: the view of the Hammada and the immense Tagounite oasis, the Ktaoua, is fantastic. The road then descends to the desert plains interspersed with oases, before reaching the village of Oulad Edriss. Surrounded by the sands, it presents a beautiful kasbah, in the heart of a palm grove. You then have about 8 km to reach M'Hamid.
