Caen-Carpiquet airport represents nearly 80% of regional traffic! We're not surprised. The historic record was reached in 2016, when nearly 140,000 passengers (an increase of nearly 8% compared to 2015) used its services, bringing it to the TOP 15 of air traffic growth for all airports in the territory.

Did you know that?

Many destinations are served daily or regularly by various companies (i.e. Hop-Air-France) to Lyon, Marseille, Milan, Strasbourg, Poitiers, Pau, Lille, La Rochelle, Nice... Flybe (towards London), Volotea (Ajaccio, Bastia), Chalair (towards Bordeaux). From April 2017, Volotea will add two flights per week to Figari and Toulouse

Smart Council:

The sooner you do it, the cheaper it is! There's no need to run to Paris. Do the math between fatigue, the highway, stress, parking... Passing through Lyon, - an ideal platform and stopover -, we take you then to Rome, Venice, Prague, Brussels, Amsterdam... Nice, isn't it? The list is far from being exhaustive, as it is said that there are no less than 1,001 destinations from Lyon.

With the bus line that serves Caen airport or the car park (count about 40 euros for a week), there is no photo!

In short, you'll have understood it! We like this airport, for its services, its human size, its growing evolution (in the coming months, we are planning improvements: a dining area to meet the demand of passengers, a more spacious boarding lounge and a larger parking ...). We also love it with its little imperfections: we are waiting, with impatience, for the opening, who knows one day, of a restaurant on the edge of the runways from where we can see the planes taking off or observe the stars...
