68 km southeast of Tan-Tan. This commune is home to nomads and herders, as is often the case in these remote regions. In the vicinity, a good number of mining deposits have been identified, but are still awaiting exploitation that would benefit the local economy. A palm grove 4 km from M'Sied, near the Aâtabi mountain, offers a moment of escape out of time, and especially, to benefit from an island of freshness in these dried basins where the heat overwhelms the traveler and stifles his walk.
