This seaside resort located 76 km from El Jadida, halfway between Casa and Essaouira, is a real haven of peace. The lagoon and its channel take on green and turquoise hues as the day progresses. The beach of Oualidia extends over 3 km along the lagoon. It is ideal for sunbathing, swimming and water sports. At low tide, the sea gives way to small islands of green grass where cattle come to graze. There are several nice walks to do, such as a visit to a cave offered by the local fishermen or a boat trip on the lagoon. Oualidia is also known for the quality of its oysters.
