A building installed in a former British legation, the first museum of its kind in Morocco, and exhibiting local artists
Located in the former British legation, it is the first museum of its kind in Morocco. It is responsible for preserving and disseminating contemporary Moroccan art and publicizing the artistic abundance in the country. In addition to its permanent collection, it exhibits local and foreign artists in the 5 rooms refurbished for this purpose. The building built in 1898 to house the British Consul General is worth a look, as are the pleasant gardens.
