At night, Maho, just a few meters away, lights up and looks like a mini-Las Vegas. By day, Mullet beach, below the island's only golf course, dazzles with its crystal-clear water, which is generally very calm. On the left, lolos (small Creole snacks) serve lunch. It's 100% local! On the menu: barbecued chicken, ribs with salad, French fries, plantains, beer and ti-punch. Prices are reasonable. Deckchairs for hire. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you'd be better off at the right-hand end of the beach. In high season, however, the place can quickly become crowded, especially at weekends.
