Already 38 years old in 2024 for the Conta workshop, quite a longevity for this quasi institution. The courses are given there, since 1986, by Jean-François Conta, graduate of the École Supérieure des Arts Modernes et du Design Contemporain de Paris please! Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, here we sketch, and especially we progress in the various techniques throughout the year. Classes for children but also adults, summer workshops, and the possibility to rent a gallery from Friday to Sunday evening to exhibit one's works as a budding or confirmed artist.

With some 1,600 students, 105 teachers in 41 disciplines, almost 200 free events each season, 46 classrooms, 3 dance studios, 15 studios for students to work in, 2 auditoriums and a documentation center, the Conservatoire de Caen offers a wide range of artistic disciplines from the age of 6. With registration or an entrance exam, you can progress through different courses right up to the final diploma. The Conservatoire is also home to the Orchestre de Caen and the Saison Musicale.

She's worked with some of the greatest names in the business, and opened her own establishment in 1973! Sophie's dance studio teaches you almost every step! Dance initiation for the little ones, modern jazz, zumba, tonic dance, hip-hop, oriental dance, tribal, ballet, Puerto Rican and Cuban salsa and even rock or pole dance (yes, yes!) with twelve qualified and passionate teachers. There's something for everyone! Don't tell us you don't fancy anything, we wouldn't believe you! So don't forget your dancing shoes!

Since 1996, this association has been offering creative writing workshops for everyone. Initiate yourself to the short story, a literary genre of its own. You will be accompanied step by step until the completion of your story. "What's this baz...art?" helps you to take the plunge, to dare literature by demystifying the act of writing: everyone has something to tell. Free your mind and find the right words, yours: forget the fear of the blank page, the story can begin!

Welcome to Bazarville! Housed in a huge hangar on the Presqu'île, Bazarnaom has plenty of room to work. An artistic collective dedicated to the performing arts, this multi-disciplinary venue, which includes set design, costumes and radio production, also organizes festivals and other events. A genuine artistic factory with a collective, cooperative approach, it is home to permanent staff who pool their know-how to manage their workplace on a voluntary basis. A mini-company of artists!
