The small municipality is located on the edge of the plateau overlooking the Orne Valley, right bank. Its peak is about 65 m near the water tower. The village consists of three distinct parts: the upper Bréville, the lower Bréville and the Mesnil. The town center where the town hall is located and the church is called the "plain", as in its neighbor Amfreville, meaning "broad flat zone". The village suffered greatly from the landing. Returning from exodus, the inhabitants found a field of ruins, mined land and corpses. The church (xive- nineteenth centuries) has not been rebuilt. Some remains remain in the current cemetery, in particular a virgin to the child dated the xive and xve centuries. The town hall was not saved either. The present is the old presbytery.
