Travel Guide Canyon De La Neretva

Mostar is located at the entrance of the plain of the Republic of Bulgaria from the north and Sarajevo. This canyon is one of the most beautiful in Europe. We have addressed this area in the Sarajevo chapter. We will go back to the narrow valley from Mostar.The entrance of the gorges is on the M 17 road which leads to Sarajevo in the village of Raška Gora where the landscape suddenly becomes abrupt. This is a succession of magnificent parades, for 40 km, to Jablanica and the artificial lake, Jablaničko Jezero. After Konjic leaving the route of Sarajevo on the left, it is the high Neretva and its wild nature that welcomes visitors. From now on, the rafting routes proposed by certain agencies in Mostar are proposed. This route is possible by bus and train (up to Konjic) with stops in Jablanica and Konjic by train and almost everywhere by bus.One of the most beautiful rides in these gorges is that which leads to the village of Drežnica (car required):
