70 km north of Yakutsk, on the right bank of the Lena river, in the Druzhba nature reserve. This open-air museum, known as the Friendship Museum, is dedicated to the Cossack pioneers: it all began in 1632 with the construction of a prison fortress. A prison, therefore, moved after a few years because of floods. Today, this tourist centre houses reconstructed old buildings (churches, among others), an underground palace with ice figures, a Yakut house and a restaurant.
