In the fabulous Butin palace, famous for its mahogany floors from Daourie. Its centrepiece: the 16 m2 Venetian mirror bought by the Butin family at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1878. This museum is a veritable Ali Baba's cave: numismatics, furniture, 19th century works of art, ethnographic collection, reconstitution of a Cossack house. Thousands of objects resulting from archaeological excavations carried out in the various penitentiary sites of the city.
