At km 6 264 of the Trans-Siberian Railway, after Tchita (1h15 trip). This village (7,000 inhabitants) is located on the banks of the Ingoda River. It is famous for its spa, set in a charming mountainous landscape. In the Buryat language, darasun means "red water". This mineral water has been known since the 18th century. It is recommended for internal and external use. It attracts visitors from all over Russia, it relieves digestive and cardiovascular pathologies and metabolic disorders. The first bath was built in 1811. Later, boarding houses, an electrical station, a laundry and a bottling plant were built.
