The city is criss-crossed by a few major arteries, the main one being Lenina Street, which leads to the gigantic and impressive square... Lenina! It is one of the two heart of the city, along with the railway station. A large part of the monuments, historic buildings, hotels, banks and the central post office are concentrated there. A square that, like part of the city, has recently undergone a makeover, giving it a colourful and pleasant appearance.
