The philharmonic orchestra's programming is multi-faceted and open to all: chamber music, symphonic concerts, film-concert for young audiences, operas and even various workshops! Winner of the Victoires de la Musique and numerous other awards, the Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg is also the oldest philharmonic orchestra in France. Young conductor prodigy Aziz Shokhakimov took over the musical and artistic direction of the orchestra in September 2021, for a high-flying program, alongside the greatest soloists of our time.

The brand new Maillon, which will open in 2019, includes two large rooms, one of which has 700 seats, administrative premises, logistics areas, but also reception areas with a bar restaurant and an inner courtyard. The Italian architect Umberto Napolitano included open and modular spaces to preserve the spirit of the past. This 6,700 ^m2 building allows the "theatre machine" to go further and reach new audiences. As for the programming, it is always very diversified, for all audiences and all styles, and resolutely open to the world with artists from all over the world.

While the Cinéma Star mainly screens films for enlightened cinephiles, its alter ego, the Star Saint-Exupéry, also offers films stamped "art and essay" with subjects more affordable to the general public, as well as some blockbusters when they are really worth it. Recently renovated, this independent cinema, whose entrance is welcoming and full of charm, has five projection rooms with cosy and comfortable seats. The "Star Saint-Ex" screens all foreign films in their original version with subtitles. In addition to the Gaumont card, the unlimited UGC card also gives you access to the cinema.

The main mission of the Cinéma Star is to allow film lovers of all kinds to enjoy auteur films screened in their original version with subtitles. Foreign films with limited distribution, produced by film productions from all over the world, are also available, which is very appreciable since it is the only one in the Alsatian capital to offer this type of entertainment. Its five rooms are small in size but you are comfortably seated and feel very comfortable. It is a French exception since it is the only national theatre in the regions and one of the two national higher schools for professional training in the dramatic arts. The theatre has two halls: the Salle Koltès and the Salle Hubert Gignoux where contemporary shows are performed. Founded in 1990 by Martin Gester, the Music Parliament brings together singers, instrumentalists and soloists. His musical repertoire is based on a classical and baroque register. As a result, the establishment has developed a partnership with the Centre de musique baroque de Versailles. Varying between creation and re-reading of the classical repertoire, the structure has made its mark on many occasions through the interpretation of the works of famous musicians such as Bach, Mozart, Shobert, Charpentier or Scarlatti. The Taps is the showcase of contemporary theatre. Since 2002, this municipal structure, spread over several sites - two halls from Scala to Neudorf, and another at the Dairy - has been offering many French and foreign creations each season. Sometimes demanding, sometimes zany, the shows, performed by professionals unknown to the general public, are varied and address different themes, each time reserving their share of surprises and emotions. La Cave aux Piafs is where the passionate madness of the Cage aux Piafs company is expressed. Several times a month, by reservation only, thirty or so people gather in a cellar, the exact address of which we're told only at the very last moment... Don't panic, these extravagant Piafs mean you no harm but, on the contrary, are there to entertain you by singing and waving their feathers during a high-flying aperitif. An unusual, festive and amusing experience that will delight everyone: you'll come away amazed!

A popular education association, the Thirteen Ditch has existed since 1978. This neighbourhood facility has multiple vocations: social, family and multi-generational. The Thirteen Ditch is a place of animation of social life whose key words are: socialization, autonomy, empowerment and tolerance. The socio-cultural centre of the Thirteen Ditch is for everyone, infants, adolescents and pensioners. The philosophy of this place is simple: to put the family, culture and solidarity back at the heart of everyone's life through multiple events (pottery workshops, singing, dancing) and activities. This also includes after-school care and homework help.

Under the direction of Pierre Chaput, the Django Reihnardt cultural area offers a range of cultural activities throughout the year. Under the leadership of the artistic programmer Benoit Van Kote, the shows aim to support talents and generations, while associating the population and the actors of the neighborhood.
