If there is a delightful place to stay in Strasbourg, it is undoubtedly at Anne Gerber, in this attractive house of Robertsau, renovated in a refined style, probably just like what it was when it belonged to the Count and the Countess Sforza. Pivoine, Pâquerette, Bouton d'or, Coquelicot and Bleuet are the lovely names of the rooms upstairs. They overlook the garden, and if you can, choose your own according to the climate that it exudes, flowery, elegant, glamorous, boudoir, luxurious and voluptuous, uncluttered. They all differ from one another, but with luxury as common point. The carpet is so much soft that removing your shoes is almost mandatory, dream bathroom to relax, cosy bed like a cocoon... The restaurant, closed on Sunday evening and Monday all day, offers, at lunchtime and in the evening, creative cuisine in an elegant yet warm decor.
