Authentic winstub restaurant in the heart of the Alsatian tradition offering home-made dishes.
The well named Meiselocker, translated into French "charmeur de mésanges", is an authentic winstub. Having a meal in this establishment is like going back in time and entering into the heart of the Alsatian tradition. Woodwork, typical chairs, red and white checkered tablecloths, paintings by Dorette Muller and Tomi Ungerer make up this atmosphere reinforced by subdued lighting. Since October 2014, Chief Jonathan Nay, who works at the Meiselocker, has been crowned Master Restorer. Among other homemade dishes, it offers a braised ham with pinot noir, lewerknepfles, a cordon bleu with munster, several recipes for bibeleskäses (cheese maker, farmer, country) or a ballottine of pike-perch with peasant bacon. Seasonal fruit pies or apple and almond beggar will round off the meal wonderfully.
