The Samotsvety Baikala Museum is the first private museum devoted to minerals in Russia. It opened its doors in 1990 and today no less than 10,000 samples are on display, along with all the information on the region's mineral wealth. There is also a souvenir shop. In addition, the museum organizes outings for mineral prospecting (200 varieties). Ideal for geology enthusiasts!
