These waterfalls, at a height of 45 m, are the most spectacular waterfalls in Chad. This natural barrier gave birth to a fish microdiversité. Four species (Synodontis violaceus, Synodontis ocellifer, Labeo lereensis, and Arius gigas) are present in the lakes of The and Tréré but do not travel to the lake-owned waters of Lake Chad.
