Commonwealth Military Cemetery, home to nearly 5,000 headstones and a memorial with a Latin inscription on its pediment
The cemetery is home to almost 5,000 headstones of soldiers who fell in the fight for freedom. Most of them were members of the Commonwealth Forces. Opposite the cemetery, a memorial pays tribute to the 2,092 Commonwealth soldiers who were not buried. A Latin inscription on the pediment of the memorial is a fitting reminder that the British shed their blood to liberate the country from which William the Conqueror came...

Très beau cimetière, très bien entretenu. Les commémorations dans ce lieu sont toujours très intenses. A voir absolument en guise de devoir de mémoire.

Cimetière militaire britannique de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Ce lieu est Impressionnant, et très émouvant. Très bien entretenu et arboré.
