Restaurant offering imaginative home cooking with seasonal vegetables.

Behind the cathedral, the Alcôve has been given a makeover and now offers a floor with a view of the cathedral! Reservations are highly recommended, especially since the address is popular: imaginative and often emulsified home cooking at medium-low prices. The dishes are fresh and light, coloured with seasonal vegetables. A nice and well-concocted dessert finishes the meal. The decoration is neat, the welcome friendly, the service efficient. For us, a good and beautiful address, respectful, delicious, from which one leaves delighted and the palate enchanted.

After a long day sightseeing around the city, the children were looking forward to a nice mea to fill their little bellies. We asked our children to wait for a bit for a restaurant that had good reviews. L’alcove was what we found. Waited till they opened at 7pm only to be turned away at the door. Their excuse, they were full for the evening. The eyes do not lie. There was but one patron in the establishment.

Bonsoir monsieur,
Votre femme est venue à 19h pour demander une table pour 6 personnes. Je lui ai expliqué que le restaurant était complet. Toutes nos tables étaient réservées, effectivement tous nos clients ne mangent pas à 19h et quand elle est venue une seule table était occupée mais cela ne veux pas dire que les autres tables ne sont pas réservées ...
Je vous invite à passer devant le restaurant vers 19h30 - 20h, les tables seront prises ....
Je ne comprends pas quel est l'intérêt de vous refuser si nous n'étions pas complet ????
