Arriving in Ibri from Muscat, you'll notice two large traffic circles separated by a dual carriageway. The square-shaped town is built around this main axis. The town has always been bustling with commercial activity, thanks to its strategic position between Al Buraïmi, on the border with the Emirates, on the one hand, and Nizwa and the interior of the country, on the other. Banks and major businesses are clustered around the second crossroads. From here, the town center is indicated on the right and leads to a street lined with stores, restaurants, coffee-shops... Further on, the palm grove stretches out.
