GALOPS D'OMAN

110 riders grouped into 22 teams have ventured into the first edition of the Gallops of Oman, which took place from February 14 to 23, 2014, and it is hoped that the event will be renewed. This is a great equestrian raid, which takes place over 200 kilometers split in five stages, with a camp moved every day by royal cavalry (the personal guard of Sultan Qaboos, please). Led by Bady El, organizer of numerous equestrian trips abroad, and Benoît Perrier, manager of the Polo Club du domaine de Chantilly, Bucéphale Organisation orchestrated this rally race on horseback. The opportunity for participants to discover the sumptuous Omani landscapes that combine sea, mountain and desert as well as the country's ancestral traditions.
