On the coastal road some fifteen kilometers from Fins, Tiwi is a sprawling, winding village whose various hamlets are spread between the coastline and the famous wadi for which the area is famous. Here, on either side of the riverbed, as if clinging to the mountainsides, nine hamlets nestle amid lush vegetation of date palms and various crops. You can hike from one to the next, taking the time to bathe in the natural pools. Once accessible only by track, the first section of the wadi is now served by a wide asphalt road.
