It's the Al-Ayjah hostel, but we'll make do with it, because for a stopover, it does the job very well. On the other side of the "Eiffel" bridge, a 6-storey building with a bronze sheen backs onto a rocky outcrop and offers, on one of its sides, a plunging view over the waters of the lagoon. You can book a room on the fourth or fifth floor of the 43-storey hotel. For a meal overlooking the water, choose between the restaurant on the second floor or the Sahari, just a stone's throw away, the largest outdoor terrace in Sur.
