A museum opened in 1985 that provides a good overview of the country's natural wealth. We are familiar with the different plant and animal species living on the territory, as well as with different eras that have created this strange landscape. The exhibition emphasizes the importance of preserving the environment, as well as the role played by Sultan Qaboos in this endeavour. An interesting visit, for which it is necessary to provide at least 1 hour (or even more, if you cast everything!).

Opening time and information on NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM (MUSÉE D'HISTOIRE NATURELLE)

The museum is within the boundary of ministry for the Heritage and the Culture with Al-Khuwair. Open all year Saturday to Wednesday from 9.30am to 1.30pm. Admission 100 bz for under 6-year-olds, 200 bz for the 6-12 years, 500 bz for over 12-year-olds and adults.
