Before Ubhar, few tables other than small popular restaurants, often with very simple settings and without any creativity, allowed the curious taste buds to taste local recipes. As a result of the heritage consciousness of its youth, Ubhar changed gears, dusted off the typical Omani cuisine and succeeded in reformulating a camel biryani, revisiting the national shuwa in burger and chips or wrap, and modulating the halwa into cheesecake.
