It's a great place to meet up with friends during the day and in the evening. The young chef's cuisine is original and refined. Excellent wines from the region. Great cocktails, including the Basil Smash Gin, a marvel of balance. Quality service.

Here the place has no character and the boss is flattering, while the radio sizzles some tubes of sugary Portuguese variety. But the dishes are delicious: We recommend chanfana, this kid or old cabri marinated according to a regional recipe. The tourist menu is cheap and the dishes of the day are effective.

You can choose a dish from the à la carte menu or opt for one of the 3 tasting menus. Every great meal begins with appetizers, and Arcadas' are exceptional. Excellent advice from the sommelier who also offers a superb wine list by the glass, ideal for tasting different wines. Eating "Ines' heart" for dessert is an unforgettable experience. In the street leading to Sé, this tapas restaurant is located in a small and pleasant square. Its terrace is so cute. Here we share good original dishes rather refined: croquettes of duck confit, lamb almonds/honey, cockles with chorizo and focaccias are a pure happiness. The restaurant's room is cosy and its stone vaults give it a lot of elegance. The prices are reasonable. The waiters all speak English and will be delighted to help you choose. Excellent red and white sangria.

In a small shopping mall on the corner of a street parallel to Mondego, Cozinha Consciente serves excellent vegetarian food on weekdays, at lunchtime only. The "dish of the day" menu changes daily, guaranteeing fresh, homemade food. The plates are colorful, generous, healthy, vegetarians will be delighted. Omnivores will be introduced to a different cuisine with lots of flavor. Some nice desserts. Warm canteen atmosphere. The place is mostly filled by locals and alert vegetarians. Good service.
