This cathedral has a facade that is distinguished by its six granite pilasters and the marble columns of its portal.
Its 18th-century façade features six granite pilasters and marble columns. The cathedral is pierced by 28 windows that illuminate panels of 17th-century azulejos, as well as a remarkable collection of Mannerist paintings, unique in the country. The interior is divided into three naves with barrel vaults and round arches. The high altar features an eight-panel altarpiece depicting the life of the Virgin Mary.
