This church, located near the São Vicente gate, has an exceptional Gothic-Romanesque portal.

Built in 1227, this church is located near the São Vicente gate. Its distinctive roof is in the shape of a brace. It was built on part of the city's second Muslim wall (10th century) and features an exceptional Gothic-Romanesque portal, a rarity in this part of the country. The interior is rich in religious works of art. The church, located in the city's historic center, forms part - along with the fortifications - of a historical-cultural complex listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
