Facing the monastery, it is certainly the best pastry shop in the city. You won't hesitate to go there before or after visiting the monastery, for a well-deserved gourmet break. You'll melt in front of the window before you even taste it, it's hard to resist. The conventual pastries(castanhas de ovo, cornucópias, divina gula, fradinho, pecados de freira...) are divine. The regional specialities, tachinho de abade, queijada de amêndoa or grades, will delight the greediest. To consume without moderation on the spot or to take away.
