A TASQUINHA

It is one of the most popular and warmest tables of the city, some come to Nazaré only to eat here. The owner, who speaks French and whose welcome is legendary, will offer you a wide choice of fish and seafood. Let yourself be tempted by thearroz de marisco or the caldeirada. The waiters will help you choose if it is too difficult. As an appetizer, you will have a glass of moscatel or port. The sangria is delicious. An address that is never empty because the quality is constant. Reservation is recommended.

CASA O SANTO DE ANIBAL PORTUGAL

World cuisine restaurant
4/5
1 review

There is nothing religious in the name of this small restaurant: the name of the house refers to the series played by Roger Moore in the 1960s. One devours excellent shellfish such as cockles, razor clams, barnacles and shrimps. It is also the small palace of amêijoas (clams). In fact, it is the star dish of this small, rustic and welcoming casa de pasto, well known by the locals. The view of the Nazaré promenade is very pleasant.

RESTAURANTE BLUE JARDIM

World cuisine restaurant
4/5
1 review

Thomas and Carole, a friendly French couple who have fallen in love with Nazaré, run this blue-and-white restaurant. The Blue Jardim is set back from the tourist hotspots. On the menu: pasta, homemade pizzas made with quality products and a French touch for a taste of France. For dessert, choose from a wide variety of ice creams and other sweets. Don't hesitate to ask for advice on the city and its surroundings. Takeaway pizzas. Great atmosphere and friendly service.

MAD

Portuguese restaurant

Offering a panoramic view of the beach from the heights of Pataias, the Mad is a superb address to visit if you find yourself in this area. Its cuisine is essentially sea-based. Octopus, seafood, fish, clams and moules-frites are beautifully presented on the plate (a feast for the eyes). Flavors explode in the mouth instantly (a pleasure for the taste buds). Nice cuts of meat too. A finely crafted wine list, good desserts. Cosy atmosphere, attentive, smiling service.
