Legend tells us that, many years ago, a dragon had elected a home in this magnificent valley, where he would terrorisait all the villagers in Bamiyan. He had set fire to the campaign and swallowed every man met on his way until the king had concluded a pact with him: The dragon promised to remain quiet in this valley, in exchange for what the king agreed to give him every day a pretty girl, two camels and several kilos of food. Peace had therefore returned to the village, but the homes of those who were forced to sacrifice their daughters were full of sadness. A few years later, one morning, when the dragon was preparing to eat his breakfast, he found before him a young warrior, sword sword, ready to defend a gorgeous girl destined to eat. The battle began immediately and, while the dragon charged, spitting big flames, the girl begged the heavens, thinking that her hero was necessarily condemned. To his surprise, when she feared it was crushed, he took his sword and drew a circle in the air on the flames that sunk on the ground, transformed into red tulips. Furious, the dragon roar so strong that the entire valley moved. He had no strength, and the young man cut the dragon in two over the length of his body. The young man turned back and saw that the lady was a party. She ran to Bamiyan to spread the news: Hazrat Ali (cousin of the prophet Muhammad) intervened to deliver it! The dragon's body blocked the sortie of the valley and "blood from its head. Indeed, on this site, you can see a large 30 m long crack and, by far, like a dragon. The sparkling mineral water that comes out of it is reminiscent of the dragon's blood. It's a source of gas, that you can drink. Some people still believe in Ali's legend. And every year, a few pilgrims come to visit this place.
