The Gulbenkian Foundation's somewhat zen-like garden has an open-air auditorium that sometimes hosts concerts.

If you do not wish to see the collections, you can visit its gardens. That's all we love about the 1960s and 1970s. The foundation's buildings blend into a wonderful landscape of lakes, Zen gardens and bushes: a delight for the eyes and the spirit. From time to time, a modern sculpture. Benches and lawns invite you to relax. Sometimes concerts are played in the open-air auditorium, including the famous Jazz em Agosto festival.
