New museum on art, architecture and technology presenting exhibitions of contemporary art around major themes.

The MAAT (Museu de Arte, Arquitectura e Tecnologia) opened its doors on October 5, 2016. Creating an ensemble with the former power station, it offers a cultural alternative to the city of Lisbon and its inhabitants. Its modern building, on the riverbank next to the Tejo power station, was designed by Amanda Levete Architects, an innovative project that links the two buildings from different eras. The MAAT Gallery presents contemporary art exhibitions focusing on major themes and current trends.

Nous n'avons pas visité ce musée, mais la vue de celui-ci est vraiment imprenable sur le tage, le pont du 25 avril et sur la statue du Cristo Rei, le petit corcovado de Lisbonne qui fait tout son effet.
