Museum offering a visit to discover the interesting collections with many documents and panels of tiles.

The setting alone is worth a visit, as it is the Pimenta Palace, a beautiful 18th century pleasure house. It is one of the richest places for tile panels. In addition, there are interesting collections (not to mention relevant temporary exhibitions). The museum traces the evolution of the city from prehistoric times to the establishment of the Republic. You will see many documents andtile panels showing the capital before and after the earthquake. Four other places to visit in addition to this one.
