Petit Futé's opinion on LISBOA MUSEU
The setting alone is worth a visit as it is the Pimenta Palace, a beautiful 18th century pleasure residence. Sometimes you feel a sense of emptiness in front of the interesting collections (not to mention relevant temporary exhibitions). The museum traces the evolution of the city, from prehistoric times to the establishment of the Republic. In particular, you will see many documents and azulejos boards showing the capital before and after the earthquake. Four other places to visit in addition to this one.
