Just next to the church of the same name, this museum is dedicated to the life and worship of Saint Anthony of Padua, patron saint of Lisbon, born here in 1191 and a disciple of Saint Francis of Assisi. He lived in Lisbon until he was 20 years old. Nicknamed Sant'Antoninho, he is one of the most popularsaints, patron saint of marriage and lost things, from whom one can ask anything. Its festival is celebrated on June 13th with parades, street parties, processions and weddings.
