It's official, Lisbon has a "Velib" type service called Gira. A little something extra: the network also has electric bicycles, which are very useful for climbing the coasts of Lisbon. Rates are per year, per month or per day. However, this is not advantageous if long trips are planned (excursion type). For the moment the resorts are rather located at the level of the cycle paths (so a little off-centre) but you will still find some in Cais do Sodré or Martim Moniz.
