Events calendar Rotterdam

A carnival, but in summer! Rotterdam has a habit of twisting traditions and this carnival is a fine example. It is actually days dedicated to parties, shows and theater, in an unusual and typically Dutch setting. Rotterdam, the second largest city in the country, is transformed into a giant camping site. The parade, with more than 2,000 dancers, various floats and many different shows, is a huge explosion of color, joy and music!
