So here is a mode of transport that is totally in tune with the port city of Rotterdam! These are small boats that work like cabs and serve the most touristy points of the city, but not only! Reservations are not required, unless there is a real need. These cabs pass every ten minutes or so and can take up to 6 people. Be careful, for the sensitive hearts they can go really fast and you can have some scares. For a moment of James Bond fun!

Le, or bus boat, is a convenient and fun way (for visitors who discover the city) to move to Rotterdam. This fast ferry connects Rotterdam (Willemskade) to the cities around Dordrecht. As follows: It is possible to ride with a bicycle without paying any extra fees. 

This high-speed train links Amsterdam and Rotterdam (via Schiphol). The supplement is to be scanned on a special terminal at the station on the platform.

Located a few metres from the station (in the Groot Handelsgebouw), this shop rents, buys, sells and repairs bicycles of all types and sizes, as well as organising rides or selling routes of varying lengths, all at reasonable prices. Please bring valid identification and a deposit of about €50 per bike. This is a sporty yet friendly way to discover Rotterdam at a leisurely pace, with the help of knowledgeable Dutch people who will share some of their city's secrets with you.
