It is a festival of lights that presents original luminous works of art in the idyllic setting of Amsterdam.
For many years now, this festival of light has been lighting up the Dutch capital in the dead of winter, and it's very popular with the locals too. The varied program allows visitors to discover the city in a new light, often highlighting districts outside the city center. It's all very impressive. In previous editions, the festival has moved away from the historic center and abandoned the traditional Herengracht for a more original itinerary. The works of art are illuminated every day from 5pm to 11pm (on December 31 until 8pm).

Amsterdam prend un visage différent a la tombée de la nuit, en particulier pendant le Light Festival (Décembre-Janvier). Deux expositions possibles, celle sur terre, et la water exhibition qui dure un peu plus longtemps en janvier. A faire a pied ou en bateau, pour un moment magique !

Parcours surprenant et facile à suivre au gré des lumières. Il permet également quelques sorties des sentiers battus. Attention cela n'a rien à voir avec la fête des lumières de Lyon !
