This café, located 3 minutes from the station, dates back to 1629. It's great when old age comes into its own: it's said to be the oldest café in town, and a very authentic one at that. Delft earthenware, sawdust thrown on the parquet floor to soak up the overflowing moss, walls in colors aged by centuries of smoking, a clientele of regulars who come to chat or play cards... it's all there. This neighborhood bistro has the added bonus of being spared the tourist flood and the fickle moods of fashion...
