SUKHA
Read moreMagnificent white zen space on a busy thoroughfare near the station. Suhka is a zen-luxe brand offering a well-thought-out selection of beautiful, comfortable clothes. Suhka means joie de vivre, and that's exactly what you'll find in this boutique. The decorative and beauty items are highly appealing and photogenic in their purity. The whole is superbly staged too. Prices are quite dizzying, but the brands are often exclusive. Lovely candles and lighting.
P.G.C. HAJENIUS
Read moreThis address seems totally out of place - in fact, it's the temple of cigars! For over one hundred and seventy years, this illustrious house has been providing cigar aficionados with its flavored cigars, along with the framework and information that go with them. Naturally, the items are not cheap, to put it mildly. Even if you're allergic to smoke, come in and admire the magnificent, hushed setting with its dark wood panelling and Art Deco decor. This address is like a testimony to an almost bygone era. A must-see after the flower market.
THE MAKER STORE
Read moreThe Maker Store is a must-see on any visit to the De Hallen center, Amsterdam's former West Halls. This is a store that sells only products or works made in Amsterdam or the surrounding area. The setting is huge and bright. You'll find everything from local T-shirts and sunglasses to candles and books. You'll be hard pressed to leave empty-handed. Don't forget the beer-making kits or the mushroom-growing kits.
GR8ACHT
Read moreGr8acht is a store just the way we like it. The owner has only one principle: she only sells what she loves, and we can assure you that her taste is excellent. Over 3 floors, Gr8acht offers home furnishings, books, accessories, soaps, even boots and a few homemade creations, all in a very Scandinavian and bohemian chic atmosphere. The shop windows are so tempting. If only to admire a typical Jordaan house, and then at least buy a candle.
FROZEN FOUNTAIN
Read moreFrozen Fountain calls itself a design gallery, and over 600 square meters in the city's historic center showcases the international tenors of the discipline. You'll find furniture, accessories and decor. All in a magnificent, luminous setting, with decorating ideas galore! Prices are of course commensurate with the products on display, but you'll always find cheaper accessories to (indulge) yourself. Over the years, this brand has launched new names that have become stars.
MAISONNL
Read moreThe name of this Dutch fashion house is misleading, because here, products come from all over the world, and that's just fine. This long boutique is the lair of owner Jonett, who selects accessories, lingerie and home decor with a critical and discerning eye. It's a pretty address for the eyes, and you're bound to find something you like. We particularly liked the pretty notebooks, novel covers and puzzles for adults. It's up to you to find beautiful objects to enhance your person or your home.
DAM SQUARE SOUVENIRS
Read moreIt is a traditional gift shop. Specialist in new and used clogs with all kinds of decorations. You will also find ceramics, various T-shirts, postcards ... In short, all conceivable memories!
LA SAVONNERIE
Read moreAdorable Jordaan boutique selling excellent handmade soaps in every shape, size and scent imaginable, as well as fun little bathroom accessories. For a unique gift, consider soaps in the shape of letters to form a friend's first name... or a lover's! The boutique also offers pretty shower gels, bubble baths and toiletry kits. There's also a plush corner. If the weather's warm, you can enjoy a delicious ice cream on your way out.
IL SOGNO
Read moreJust a stone's throw from the Nieuwmarkt, in a typical but quiet street, lies an address that has been proving its worth for many years. Il Sogno is a concept store dedicated to products made in Italy: fashion, design, cuisine and more. All fields are covered. And let's not forget the coffee and the delicious pizza. An atypical address not to be missed. This address has a second branch in the new district of Ijburg. A beautiful address that's an excellent option when you're in the neighborhood.

CRAFTED STORIES
Read moreCrafted Stories is a very pretty boutique located on the Noordermarkt, literally in the Noorderkerk church. You enter from the side, past a small coffee bar and then onto two different levels. Most of the items here are vintage at attractive prices. Fashion, decor, jewelry, accessories, but also children's books. Some products are made by women in developing countries, prostitutes or isolated elderly people. The idea? A strong social commitment as well as beautiful products!
LA TERTULIA
Read moreTertulia will change any preconceived ideas you may have about coffee-shops as creepy places of perdition. Tertulia is, in fact, a relaxed, natural coffee-shop, superbly housed in the corner of a building on the Prinsengracht. Outside, Van Gigh's paintings are reproduced on the walls, and inside, the decor is plant-based and relaxing. The clientele is mostly young, even students. The terrace is pleasant as soon as the sun comes out. A renowned address since its creation almost 40 years ago... Don't miss it!
DAMPKRING
Read moreProbably the city's best-known coffeeshop, where generations of tourists make a pilgrimage every time they visit. Located not far from the Place du Spui, in a pretty alleyway, it welcomes a varied public (many tourists, naturally) in a psychedelic decor (bright colors and rounded shapes). Wide choice and sound advice. A scene from the now vintage film Ocean's Twelve was even filmed here. Sometimes too crowded, but that's the price of success. On your way out, you'll be tempted by some excellent French fries.
