Very disappointing hotel. Noisy uncomfortable rooms. Checking in process was unwelcoming. WiFi is very poor. Will avoid in future.

Sir Albert Hotel in Amsterdam charmed me with its elegant blend of modern design and warm hospitality. My room was stylish and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, offering personalized recommendations. The location was perfect, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood with easy access to the city's sights. A delightful experience that made my visit extra special.

My husband and I stayed for a few nights recently. The hotel staff were very welcoming and even managed to give us an early check in as our flight got in at 8am. We were advised our room may be noisy as it was on the first floor, as the restaurant played music until 1am, however I didn’t find the noise much of a problem. We were also offered a room on a higher floor, but would have to wait until 3pm for normal check in time. We were given Baloons and chocolate in our room, as we had told the hotel we were there for our 10th anniversary which was a lovely touch.
The bed was very comfortable and water pressure in the shower was amazing for a hotel-probably the best I’ve stayed in. My only complaint would be the room was quite dusty and could have been cleaned a bit better (marks on the light switches, tables, glasses etc). But I went over these myself with a wipe.
The snacks also didn’t have a menu to explain how much they were. It was Overall a lovely hotel & welcoming friendly staff. Our bags were stored for our flight home, no problem. We didn’t add the option of breakfast as we felt it was quite expensive so I can’t comment on that. The market is a 5 minute walk away which is a must for a browse. We would return in a heartbeat if visiting Amsterdam again!

Pros: very close to several public transportation stops, great market and food options down the street, walking distance to Heineken and several museums.
