Cafe Modern is a well-known address on the Amstelloden culinary scene, located in the premises of a former bank.
This café is actually a restaurant, and since its opening has been one of the most famous addresses in the city's northern district, which can be reached by taking the free ferry behind the main station. Housed in a former red-brick bank, the decor is sober, with elements of color, including green walls. The menu changes almost daily, offering inspired cuisine with a focus on vegetables. A pleasant evening ahead, and well worth the investment. Please note: some rooms are available upstairs.
