Cornerstone is located in the northern district, not far from the Ceuvel, which we also love. It's a surprising place, serving as a bar, a discotheque, but also and above all a restaurant with Asian flavors, mainly Japanese, but with welcome Dutch touches. It's housed in an industrial complex without much flavor, but zen and with a superb, imposing chandelier that's an Instagram favorite. We really like the menu, which mixes flavors. When the meal stops, the party starts. A special place.

To reach this newly opened public space, take the ferry to the north bank of the Ij just behind the cinémathèque. Housed in a modern building, this large space with its minimalist decor invites discovery. It's a coworking space where people meet to work, but also to drink coffee, savor a pastry, have a drink and enjoy an evening meal in elegant surroundings. The menu features burgers at lunchtime and small dishes to share in the evening. A great place to meet people.
