De Jaren is undoubtedly the city's first true design café, opened many years ago and offering a timelessly elegant interior. In the mornings, you can sip your coffee here over the daily press. In the morning, you can sip your coffee over the press of the day, indulge in a sweet treat (cinnamon-flavored apple tart, perhaps?), then follow up with classic sandwiches or salads, while in the evening, you can choose from a range of dishes, including a grilled salmon fillet. The terrace overlooking the water is very popular for the borrel, the little evening drink.
